Meet Dr. Smith
Veronica Smith, D.D.S., an Oshkosh, WI Dentist, takes great pride in providing the best dental care available and is committed to advancing her expertise by continually learning and keeping up to date with dental technologies. She feels that by providing state-of-the-art procedures she can achieve optimal oral health and attractive teeth in her patient-family.
Born in Manila, Philippines, Dr. Smith moved to Stockton, California as a small child. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Creighton in 1992. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Smith owned and operated The Family Smile Center in Fairbury, Nebraska for 14 years. Dr. Smith then moved to Oshkosh in 2006 where she worked as a dentist for the State of Wisconsin for seven years before taking over the Oshkosh practice of Dr. Loren Swanson in early 2013.
A member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, Dr. Smith believes it is important to serve the Oshkosh community with her clinical talent. In addition to her commitment to the patients of Oshkosh Family Dentistry, she volunteers at the Tri-County dental clinic. Tri-County Clinic serves the dental needs of Winnebago, Outagamie and Calumet County residents who do not otherwise have access to dental care. She serves as member of the board of directors for Fr. Carr’s Place 2B and volunteers at Father Carr’s Place 2B dental clinic. She is a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish where she serves on the Parish Life Committee as well as the Environment Committee.
Dr. Smith also enjoys spending quality time with her husband, four teenage boys, and their two dogs. Quality family time includes camping, biking, kayaking, hiking, cross-country skiing and boating. Dr. Smith also enjoys cooking and sewing; great skills for the mom of four teenagers to have!
